Club Meeting Annual General Meeting NEW DATE

May 2, 2016 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Good morning Crossburn Snowmobilers,

I am writing to give notice of a time change for our March meeting.  Our regular general meeting and our Annual General Meeting (AGM)  has been re-scheduled to Monday, May 2, at 7:30pm at the Anglican Church Hall in New Germany. ALL ARE WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND….to help us set up for the next year of club business.

All 10 current directors have indicated that they are willing to return next year.  We can have a maximum of 12 directors (bylaw rule) and so we would like to see a couple of new or returning faces in those vacancies….LET ME OR ANY OF THE CURRENT DIRECTORS KNOW IF YOU ARE INTERESTED….don’t be shy!

I spoke to Stephen Rafuse on his last trip home and he has indicated that he will be stepping down as President (he will remain as a director), due to his work away that will likely continue for some time.  On behalf of the board of directors (past & present), I would like to thank Stephen for his many years of leadership and dedication to the club! It has been a pleasure to work with Stephen and I have been happy to cover for him during his time away this past year.

We now have 2 executive position vacancies….Secretary and President.  As is customary, all executive positions will be filled by the new board of directors at a short meeting following the AGM.  Again, LET ME OR ANY OF THE CURRENT DIRECTORS KNOW IF YOU ARE INTERESTED!

This current season has had its ups and downs and although it has been cut short, there continues to be business (groomer repairs, bridge construction etc.) that requires volunteer time from members who are dedicated to delivering a product (groomed trails) for you the snowmobiler!  Get involved if you can…”many hands make light work”….even moral support helps….so, I hope to see you at the meeting
